Blackjack Switch
Blackjack Switch is a variation of the classic Blackjack Game. The objective of this game is still to get the value of 21, but this game is played slightly differently.
Once the wager has been placed on the table the player and the house will each be dealt two hands of two cards out of a pack that contains 8 full decks of 52 cards each. The two top cards in each hand can be swapped between the two sets of cards, but one cannot change the lesser of the two cards or put the two top cards in the same hand.
Cards from 2 to 9 are taken at face value and Ten, Jack, Queen and King are all valued at 10. Ace is the only card that has two values and that is one or eleven and the player or the house will decide what value to use depending on the other cards held in the hand.
If you draw an Ace and a ten, Jack, Queen or King, then the ace will be taken as eleven and added to the ten that you will receive from the Jack, Queen or King, will give you a perfect 21 which is then called a Blackjack. This can only happen with the first two cards that you are dealt.
The dealer has certain rules that govern their play. The dealer has to hit on a soft 17 and has to stand on a hard 17 or more. The soft 17 will be when the dealer has an Ace and a 6, and the ace is taken as 11 and not as 1, and a hard 17 is when a ten and a seven are used to make up the total of 17.
In this game of Blackjack Switch the dealer can get a total value of 22 without going bust and will win the game of Blackjack unless the player also has a value of 21, where it will be considered a tie. However should the player hold a Blackjack (first two cards amounting to 21) the player will then win the round.
